The 4-3-2-1 format is a fun and engaging style of play that rewards precision.   Every member of the Club is welcome to participate in this League.

Individuals compete against other individuals, with each player throwing four bowls.  After all the bowls have been played, the bowl closest to the Jack scores, four points, the next scores three points, the next two points and the fourth closest scores a single point.   

The maximum amount of points that can be earned by any one player in a single end of play is 10.  The individual with most points upon completion of the game (usually 8 ends) is the victor.  The League Convenor(s) keep track of how well you have done throughout the season.
